Just before the Interbike Show got underway, we were fortunate to get together with Eric Richter, senior brand manager, cycling at Giro. As you may know, Giro designs leading helmets, goggles and softgoods for cycling, skiing and snowboarding. It recently launched a new apparel line called New Road, which has captured attention for its sleek, subdued look among the cycling crowd. Giro was founded in 1985 by Jim Gentes and is now part of Easton Bell Sports headquartered in the Santa Cruz, California area.
